Beach day

Happy Valentines day!  We had a nice dinner out at an outdoor italian restaurant.  They gave us each a free glass of champagne & a rose. 

We had our longest beach day a few days ago down at the beach a few blocks from our place.  Beach days are definitely different with 2 little ones.  Tom & I take turns playing with K and then hanging with Tilman.  Not a lot of laying around suntanning anymore!
We had tons of fun though as the tide was on the way out so the beach was ginormous & formed little tide pools close to shore.  Kalyssa is having a blast playing in the waves & sand as well as chasing all the seagulls :) 

I know it seems like all we do is go to the beach but that's not really the case (but it would be if Kalyssa decided on our itinerary!).  We are just behind on posting - we have recently been on the Noosa ferry, a walk in the National park (trying to spot a Koala bear), a town north of Noosa in search of the local markets and Underwater world.

Tilman has been doing this nose crinkling thing - we think its due to the brightness outside.  Too bad he won't wear his shades but we can barely keep a hat on him!

 



We're doing tons of beach walks - the beach seems to be neverending
